Electronics: Overview

Welcome to the electronics and wiring section. In these chapters, we will mount all the electronic components into the compartment at the bottom of the printer and complete all the high-voltage and low-voltage wiring required to bring your machine to life.

Safety is Paramount

This is the most dangerous part of the build. You will be working with lethal mains voltage. Please re-read the safety warnings in the introduction before you proceed. If you are not 100% confident in your ability to work with mains electricity, stop and ask for help from a qualified electrician.

The goal is to create a clean, organized, and safe electronics bay, which will make future maintenance and troubleshooting much easier.
