Welcome to the Assembly Manual¶
Welcome to the assembly guide for your CoreXY printer! This project is designed with the philosophy of creating a high-performance 3D printer, inspired by top-tier designs like the Voron. Our motto is: "We build space shuttles with gardening tools, so anyone can have a space shuttle of their own."
This manual will guide you step-by-step through the entire mechanical and electrical assembly process.
Safety First - Read Before You Begin
You are about to assemble a robot in your home. This machine, if not handled with proper care, can maim, burn, and electrocute you. Your safety is your own responsibility. Please read and understand the following warnings:
- Mains Voltage: You will be working with lethal mains voltage (110V/230V). Always disconnect the printer from the wall outlet before touching any electrical components. High-voltage wiring should only be performed by qualified personnel, following local standards.
- Hot Components: The hotend and print bed reach temperatures that can cause severe burns. Handle with care.
- Moving Parts: The motors in this machine are powerful. Keep your fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from moving belts, pulleys, and gantries to prevent injury.
- Fire Safety: Never leave the printer running unattended. Keep an appropriate fire extinguisher nearby.
We highly recommend reading this entire manual before you begin assembly and joining the community to ask questions and share your progress.
Good luck, and have fun with your build!
