Maintenance¶
Keeping your MY-Mini-3D-Printer in good condition is essential to ensure print quality and equipment longevity. Follow these recommendations, also inspired by Prusa Mini best practices.
Preventive Maintenance¶
- Regularly clean the shafts, rails, and bearings with a dry cloth or isopropyl alcohol.
- Lubricate linear bearings and lead screws with appropriate oil or grease.
- Periodically check and tighten all screws.
- Clean the hotend nozzle with a brass brush.
Corrective Maintenance¶
- Replace nozzles, belts, and bearings when they show signs of wear.
- Update the firmware whenever new stable versions are released.
- Check the condition of cables and connectors.
Prusa Mini Tips¶
- Perform mesh bed leveling regularly.
- Keep the PEI sheet clean for better adhesion.
- Store the printer in a dry, dust-free environment.
